The 123 FEED Programme

This is an operation that functions four times a week depending on food resources. We operate from a base in Glider Crescent, in the heart of ‘Die Gat’, where joblessness and hunger are prevalent.

Goal:
To effectively and consistently operate five days a week providing a wholesome and warm meal to community members. The number of community members fed during the week on any one day is between 250 and 350 people but not limited to this amount.

The 123 Move: Feed Initiative works hand in hand with the 123 Move: Read Learn Lead Program whereby individuals are identified who desire to learn and want to make a positive change in their lives but require an education and the development skills to do so.
